Thailand is where I am staying for March and April. Work is still being done with the TMMS Web team in India and USA. All of the websites of our Taos group have been updated and are now all on our new server. This is very satisfying, but there still is a bunch of work to be done on many little details in the operations. Content posting has been going reasonably well and the sites are growing.

In Bangkok, I had some productive meetings with people such as David Plattner from RainTrust who with a little help from us might be able to use carbon credits to actually save the rainforests. That of course means saving us. Also Toby Patterson and excellent software developer who has probably the best database component for Joomla, and is also sometimes part of the Joomla core development team. Also, Shawn and Ae Bartley showed me around there a video editing and colorizing studio.

And I've been doing some work on my photo gallery for this site and have added some of the later photos of my time in Goa in January. It's a bit time consuming to do this, and I've many thousands of photographs, but I like having them there so I'll do this work from time to time.

Work is going on with taosplaza.com which has been upgraded and final config plus new content is being added, taosmusic.com which has been transmigrated to upgraded technology and is now in the first stages of being reconfigured, taossales.com and taosimports.com which are being tweaked to the new Amazon security codes (this is taking longer than expected), taosmultimedia is next to be moved and upgraded to better CMS technology.

When these are complete, ALL of my company's (TMA) online taos-prefix sites will have been moved to our private server from the server in Houston, AND upgraded to the new technology. This process began in May '09 with the first small steps and tests with taosdining.com and we worked on that site a lot while I was in Taos in July. Then at the beginning of October, I made a huge push to complete all the remaining sites. While I was in Goa in the Fall I completed about 6-7 sites.

Hi, This is my new Web site. It's a sporty little thing now with a Joomla 1.5.15 engine under the hood. I have made so many other sites but my own site was often neglected.

This was because I was so wrapped up in chasing down scripts like the technologies that run taoslink.com or taosadvertising.com.

There is a hot gallery component called JoomGallery that I used with meemsbeachresort.com site that I liked so much I started getting interested in putting a few thousand of my photosgraphs on my site..., Just for fun.

That's coming up. Right now this new site is forming up. This is the section that, right now, I'll call J. R.'s Blog.

And here, for now, I'll just post and note some things. Like they say weblog them.
