behind the mixing console at
Biscuit City Studios
We had a great time with Biscuit City, in Denver. From 1973 to 1979, Laura Benson Sunday and I, with the help of many others, made 23 albums and sold them all over the world. There was Biscuit City Studios and Biscuit City Records. Geoff Ibbott, Norm Bull, Ty Atherholt were major creators in the control room, along with many young and talented recording artists. We made albums by singer/songwriters aplenty, and by Bluegrass, Swing, and Irish Bands. The albums were played on a hundred stations nationally and also in Europe and Asia. Distribution was national and global. Wow..., even in those days. After Biscuit City, the studio was called High Plaines Audio and we produced a bunch more albums until 1983, with Pete Dockendorf as manager/engineer. Really one of the best jobs you could imagine. And at just the right time, too.

More about Biscuit City later.
